I was born and raised in the town of Thermopolis, Wyoming, where I spent the summers camping and fishing in the BigHorn Mountains or just running up and down the Bighorn River fishing for trout and walleyed pike. It was fall that grew in my heart as the leaves turned to awesome colors and the animals such as deer, elk, antelope and moose started their tradional mating seasons.
I can still hear the first elk I ever heard bugle, to this day, screaming to the world of what a king he was and that he claimed to be the most dominant bull in his domain. As I grew a passion for this, I suddenly realized it was up to me to keep this alive in as many young generations as I could. This is not only a time of year, but a short story to life. The wildlife around me taught me who I was and why I needed to be this way. In a short time I grew the nickname "Wildman".
Throughout high school, I hunted with my grandfather and friends day in and day out, enjoying the freedom that I was blessed with. I then went on to college where I earned an associates degree in arts, currently residing in my home in Gillette, Wyoming. I spend all my spare time photographing wildlife, extending out my extra arm (my camera) in hopes of catching someone eye, so they too can experience what makes my heart beat.
